The U.S. confectionery industry directly employs 55,000 Americans and supports hundreds of thousands jobs in agriculture, retail, transportation and other industries. Candy-making helps fuel the American economy.

NCA members are companies who manufacture the vast majority of chocolate, candy, gum and mints sold in the United States, plus the suppliers who provide those companies the equipment, ingredients, packaging and services they need to make candy, and brokers who act as third-part sales agents for the industry.

Candy is made in all 50 states and in more than 1,000 facilities across the nation. We create American products with American workers in cities and towns throughout the United States.
